The Blind Spot
Hungarian and German Experimental Music Exchange Project
2007

The project The Blind Spot took place in January 2007 (Berlin) and March 2007 (Budapest) as a collaboration of DISK and the Ultrasound Foundation, makers of the Ultrahang Festival in Budapest.
 
The idea of the The Blind Spot was to intensify exchange between the Hungarian and German experimental music scenes. After an Hungarian focus within the CTM.07 Festival, the project continued at the Ultrang Festival in Budapest with a number of concerts, performances and workshops by German artists as well as a film program curated by Tim Tetzner.

Bolz'n, Strobocop, Prell, Phon.o, Ludditák, Marcus Schmickler, Burial Chamber Trio (Attila Czihar with Greg Anderson and Oren Ambarchi), Pure, Khan of Finland, Andras Nun, Hyner of Maos Rache Soundsystem, Ignaz Schick, Tigrics, Mike Rosoft, Coby Lens, DJ Mesterházy, Christopher Noelle and Niklas Warneke from Share-Berlin and other global Share-members, Péter Szabó and Alexandra Szeleznyeva.
